Someone told me “you can’t save them all.” Even though I felt turned off by her statement, I comprehended its relevance in teaching students in public education. Not all student want to be saved. While some people do not even know what they need to be saved from, they rather be left alone in their ignorance. I truly do not know if I have a point to this post, but I feel strongly when I say…I can not stop wanting to try to save others. Teach others and learn from others.  You learn something new everyday. I have felt great disappointment and happiness, while I have gained control of a classroom, but I am hopeful for my efforts to save students through education.
